At the moment I'm coding my Music Insider website which will be live on 1st May at www.musicinsider.co.uk.
This personal, professional website you’re on right now was the first website I coded using html and css. I thought about a colour scheme and typographies I would like that would be funky and cool but professional. I also created the layouts, styles and branding that would make the website easy and fun to navigate. This was also my first experience buying a domain name, hosting rights for my website and deploying it through an online service so that the site becomes active. The blog is particularly cool, because I can update live straight to your computer or mobile!
As displayed on the Music page page, I was in charge of creating a website for the independent record label I co-found called Lone Tone Records. Creating the Lone Tone Records website was fun and I adhered to aesthetic conventions for websites for the singer/ songwriter genre. The site includes an about page for the label as well as the signed artists, a gallery of photos our group took and information about how to contact us if you are an artist that wants to sign with our record label.

As part of my Media A Level studies I created a website for the artist of the music video I created, as shown on my videography page. I did this using Wix as I had not yet learnt how to code. I really enjoyed the experience of creating my first website! On Wix there are countless options of different layouts, colour schemes and fonts to choose from, and it even provides suggestions for these choices based on what the website is for.
The background photo on the site is one I took and edited myself on Photoshop. The site includes details of Amy’s career in music, videos of her singing on YouTube and songs on SoundCloud as well as where you can buy tickets to see her perform live!
